I have complained about the lock twice already and each time the same problem - broken connection and wrong calibration. The product behaves unpredictably, which is a major problem with the lock. Alza did not resolve the situation and only blamed it on the need to update the software. The update didn't solve anything, of course. Overall disappointing. For the money, absolutely unacceptable quality. I would definitely not buy this lock again.

We used only local, no Matter connection
after a year, it rattles, sometimes it doesn't unlock, so you can't rely on it.

Alza should send their service partner on Aqara to hell, because the claims process is tragic and 2x returned for no real reason. however, 4 other neighbours have the same problem with this lock after half a year, so probably some kind of general fault and the service partner does not want to claim - or does not want to.

unfortunately after half a year the gears seemed to have broken off and the lock was not able to lock (interestingly only in 1 direction)
then no longer usable (until then it worked perfectly)
the process of handling the complaint through the service partner tragic - 2x returned with nonsensical reasoning (1x incomplete packaging, which certainly did not prevent the diagnosis, the second time supposedly I do not have an unpaired account even though I have it unpaired and the lock as such is put into the factory settings - even the service partner can do this) - moreover, the answer always came just before the expiration of the monthly deadline - this is interesting .
