Sennheiser CX80U Black
Sennheiser CX80U Black
The Sennheiser CX 80U are wired in-ear headphones with a digital USB-C connection. The dynamic drivers with a closed-back design operate in a frequency range of 17Hz to 20kHz, have an impedance of 28 Ohms, and reach a sound pressure level of 119dB SPL at 1kHz and 1V RMS. The digital audio transmission is lossless and lag-free. The integrated in-line remote with an omnidirectional MEMS microphone allows you to manage both music and phone calls. The headphones work without Bluetooth, pairing, or charging, and the USB-C connection allows them to be used with compatible smartphones, laptops and tablets. Three sizes of silicone eartips help you customise the fit in your ears, and the closed-back in-ear design provides passive isolation from ambient noise.

USB-C connection, microphone and in-line controls
The Sennheiser CX 80U use a USB-C connection for lossless and lag-free digital audio transmission. The wired operation does not require Bluetooth, pairing or charging, and the headphones are ready to use as soon as they are connected. The integrated remote allows you to control music playback, answer and end calls, and use the voice assistant. The omnidirectional MEMS microphone operates in a frequency range of 100Hz to 10kHz and is used for phone calls and voice communication. The cable is 1.2m long and three sizes of silicone eartips allow you to choose the right fit for your ear.

Impedance
This figure indicates how much power the headphones require. Headphones with a lower impedance (e.g. 32Ω) are ideal for mobile phones and laptops. Higher impedance (e.g. 80Ω and above) is more suitable for Hi-Fi players and amplifiers.
Frequency range
Indicates what sounds the headphones can reproduce. The typical range is 20Hz - 20kHz, which corresponds to what the human ear can hear. Lower Hz = deeper bass, higher kHz = more detailed highs.Specifications
