Noise
In addition to the negative impact on the quality of data, noise also increases file size on memory cards.
Random noise
Occurs:
- Due to insufficient amount of light
- Due to high temperature of the sensor chip
When shooting under good lighting conditions, the level of random noise is almost zero.
Dark noise
Occurs:
- During long image exposures
- At high temperature
- Due to the age of the image sensor
Amplified noise
Occurs:
- At higher settings of ISO sensitivity
Eliminating noise
- Choose a camera with a sufficiently large sensor chip and large sensing points
- Manual setting the ISO sensitivity to a lower value
- Use a tripod
- Use a flash
- Reduce exposure times
- Use Noise Reduction
- Use software programs
