AKASA 10 Gigabit PCIe Network Card
The AKASA network card expands your desktop PC, workstation, or server with a single high-speed RJ45 ethernet port. This internal network adapter, with product code AK-PCCE10-01, installs into a free PCI Express slot on your computer's motherboard. The device uses a PCIe 3.0 × 2 interface and is also backwards compatible with larger PCIe x4, x8, and x16 motherboard slots. This network component expands the connectivity of modern systems that require stable data transfer on a local network. The card supports a total of six transfer speeds, from 10Mb/s up to 10Gb/s.

Network connection
The card handles transfer rates ranging from 10Mb/s to 10Gb/s, specifically supporting 10Gb/s, 5Gb/s, 2.5Gb/s, 1Gb/s, 100Mb/s and 10Mb/s speeds. Users can transfer large volumes of data quickly, depending on the capabilities of their current network infrastructure. For full 10Gb/s data transfers, the manufacturer recommends using Cat6a or Cat7 network cables. These cables help prevent interference and signal attenuation over longer distances.
PCI Express interface
The connection to the motherboard is via a PCIe 3.0 × 2 interface. This configuration provides sufficient throughput to fully utilise the ten-gigabit potential and is also backwards compatible with larger PCIe x4, x8, and x16 slots. Installation is done directly into a compatible computer bus without the need for complex hardware setup. This makes the card suitable for various generations of desktop and server motherboards, where it expands the number of available high-speed ports.
Cooling
The card is fitted with an aluminium heatsink that dissipates heat from the Realtek RTL8127AT chip. This passive heat dissipation maintains a stable operating temperature even under long-term network load. The design requires no additional fan, which contributes to the quiet operation of the entire system. The heatsink efficiently dissipates heat into the surrounding space inside the computer case and protects internal components from overheating. The device operates stably in a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C.
Energy saving
Support for the IEEE 802.3az standard helps to reduce electricity consumption during periods of low network traffic. This energy-saving standard switches off unused circuits and saves on operating costs, making the card economical for both home and business environments. In addition, it supports the IEEE 802.3bz and IEEE 802.3an standards, meeting modern networking demands. The low power consumption also results in less heat being radiated, which has a positive effect on the overall temperature inside the computer case.
Compatibility
The product works seamlessly with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2022 operating systems. Support also includes Linux systems with kernel version 3.10 and above, which expands its deployment options. The drivers for these systems ensure stable operation. The card is also compatible with older versions of Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008. Thanks to its broad operating system support, it can be easily integrated into existing corporate networks and server solutions without needing to change the software platform.
Remote power management
The Wake-on-LAN function is used to turn on a computer remotely via a network signal. Network administrators can remotely manage the power of servers and workstations without needing physical access to the devices. This facilitates system maintenance and updates outside of working hours. The card also supports jumbo frame transfers of up to 16KB, which reduces the load on the processor when transferring large files. On the rear panel, you will find two LEDs that indicate connection activity and speed.
