G7116 Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner - 473ml, this shampoo with conditioner is suitable for all types of paintwork. The luxurious foam with rich conditioner nourishes the paint and polishes the surface, allowing water to bead and run off easily, significantly shortening drying time. Unlike regular detergents, it doesn't damage the protective wax layer; in fact, it helps to strengthen it.
G1001 Meguiar's Clay Bar - 80g clay bar for paintwork decontamination. A clay bar is a special type of clay that removes everything from your paintwork that regular washing can't – tar spots, industrial fallout, tree sap, etc. If the paint surface feels rough and not smooth as glass after washing and drying, this is what you need. Lubricate the paint surface sufficiently with the included detailer. Using the clay bar is effortless – simply "glide" the bar over the paintwork, and all contaminants will be gone.

Application Instructions:
Always work in the shade and on a car body that is cool to the touch. Never work in direct sunlight! Shake all liquid products well before use. Only use high-quality accessories (foam applicators, microfibre cloths) for applying and wiping off products. Follow the user instructions.
STEP 1 - WASH
This step is to remove regular dirt from the surface of the bodywork.
Products: G7116 Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
Method: Rinse the car with a stream of water. Mix 30ml of shampoo in 4 litres of water. The water temperature should match the temperature of the bodywork. Wash the car by hand using a high-quality wash mitt (A7301 Lambswool Wash Mitt or X3002 Microfiber Wash Mitt - not included in the set). Using a sponge may cause additional scratching to the paintwork. Rinse off the remaining shampoo with a stream of water. Dry the car with a quality chamois or drying towel (X2100 Meguiar’s Natural Chamois or X2000 Meguiar’s Water Magnet – not included in the set).
STEP 2 – REMOVING “BONDED CONTAMINANTS” – CLAY BAR
This process removes stubborn contaminants from the paint surface that cannot be removed by regular washing (tar, industrial fallout, sap, etc.). This will leave the paint surface as smooth as glass and increase the effectiveness of the subsequent polishing and waxing.
Products: 80g clay bar, A3316 Quik Detailer
Method: Tear off one-third of the clay bar and form it into a patty about 5cm in diameter. Work on a section of the bodywork approximately 50×50cm, then move on to the next section. Lubricate the paint surface sufficiently with the detailer, and wipe the moistened surface with the clay bar. Do not press down on the clay bar during application! Work in parallel movements, about 15–20cm long. Wipe the entire section first in one direction and then wipe the same section perpendicular to the original direction. Finally, wipe the entire section dry with a microfibre cloth. If some contaminants resist, repeat the process, but do not increase the pressure on the surface.
STEP 3 – POLISHING
Polishing removes sub-surface paint defects (scratches, stains, oxidation, etc.) while also polishing the paint to a high gloss. Defects that can be felt as a groove when you run your fingernail over them should be entrusted to a professional.

Method (by hand):
Apply a small amount of polish (a drop of 0.5–1cm in diameter) to the foam applicator. Work on a section of the bodywork approximately 50×50cm, then move on to the next section. Using medium pressure and a circular motion, buff the entire section and wipe off the polish residue with a microfibre cloth before it dries.
Method (by machine): Meguiar’s consumer polishes are not intended for application with a rotary polisher. If you wish to machine polish the paintwork using the MT310 Meguiar's DA Polisher or the Meguiar’s DA Power System, please contact the manufacturer for further instructions.
STEP 4 – WAXING
Waxing creates a protective layer that will keep your paintwork in great condition for a long time.

Method (by hand):
Apply a small amount of wax (a drop of 0.5–1cm in diameter) to the foam applicator. With no pressure at all and using a circular motion, apply a thin, hazy film to the paint surface and let it dry completely. Once dry, buff it off to a clean finish with a microfibre cloth. For subsequent maintenance, only use high-quality car shampoos and detailers that are gentle on the wax layer.
