Motul 8100 X-CLEAN EFE motor oil with a viscosity of 5W-30 is a 100% synthetic oil for passenger cars. It is designed for four-stroke petrol and diesel engines. Its formula is designed to be fully compatible with catalytic converters (CAT) and diesel particulate filters (DPF). This 5W-30 synthetic motor oil in a five-litre container meets ACEA C2, C3 and API SN specifications.

Oil composition

The formula of Motul 8100 X-CLEAN EFE oil is designed for newer generation engines. Meeting the ACEA C2 and ACEA C3 standards means the oil has a reduced content of sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (Mid SAPS). The reduced content of these substances is important for the proper functioning and service life of exhaust gas after-treatment systems. The oil therefore protects not only the engine, but also components such as diesel particulate filters (DPF) and catalytic converters, maintaining their efficiency.

Synthetic base and 5W-30 viscosity

The fully synthetic base stock of the oil provides thermal stability and resistance to oxidation. This helps the oil maintain its lubricating properties throughout the service interval and contributes to engine cleanliness. The 5W-30 viscosity grade supports easy cold starts thanks to its fluidity at low temperatures, while also providing engine protection at high operating temperatures. The oil is suitable for a wide range of operating conditions.
