Roof Boxes

Important parameters

• Volume - indicates the approximate size of the box. The actual internal volume is about 10% less than the value given by the manufacturers.
• Carrying capacity - the maximum weight that the box can carry. When choosing a roof box, also take into account the maximum carrying capacity of your car's roof.
• Length - for transporting skis or snowboards, select a longer and flatter box. If the manufacturer does not specify the inner length of the box, you can calculate 10-30 cm difference between the outer and inner lengths.
• Width / Height - boxes for transporting skis or snowboards can have a smaller width and height. As for universal boxes for transporting luggage and pushchairs, choose a model that gives you a reserve of about 5-10 cm from the external width / height.
