Durable construction for demanding conditions
The Blackview ROCK 2 meets the MIL-STD-810H standard and is ready for drops, impacts, vibrations, rain, dust, sand, humidity, and extreme temperatures. Its construction is protected by reinforced rubber corners, a sturdy back cover, an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame, and durable Panda Glass. The phone measures 188.6 × 89.7 × 25.3mm and weighs 548g, reflecting its robust build and extra-large battery.
IP68 and IP69K certifications ensure protection against dust, submersion in water, and high-pressure water jets. The phone can withstand submersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes and also offers an underwater camera mode. The seal around the display is complemented by corrosion-resistant aluminium buttons with silicone sealing elements and a TPU cover for the USB port. A practical speaker-cleaning function helps automatically remove trapped water and dust.
Glove mode and practical tools
Glove Mode 2.0 makes it easier to use the phone with winter or work gloves, which you'll appreciate when working outdoors, on a construction site, or during outdoor activities. The ToolBag app brings together ten tools, including a compass, ruler, torch, sound meter, protractor, magnifier, mirror, and plumb bob.
Performance and fast 5G connectivity
The phone is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T8100 chip, built on a 6nm process. Four high-performance Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of up to 2.2GHz are complemented by four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0GHz and an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 graphics chip. This allows the phone to handle work applications, navigation, multitasking, multimedia playback, and gaming, achieving a score of up to 742446 in the AnTuTu benchmark.
Support for 5G mobile networks brings faster downloads, smoother online communication, and a stable connection for both work and play. The Blackview ROCK 2 is ready for transferring large files, video calls, streaming, and using cloud applications in the field.
Smooth multitasking with 8GB of RAM
The phone offers 8GB of physical LPDDR4X RAM for smooth system operation, work applications, and multitasking. Atomized Memory 2.0 technology helps manage available memory more efficiently and maintain stable performance when working with multiple apps at once.
Fast storage and effective cooling
The internal UFS 2.2 storage offers a capacity of 256GB and, compared to standard eMMC, contributes to faster app launches and data loading. The storage space can be expanded by up to another 2TB using a microSD memory card. F2FS and EROFS file systems further accelerate random data reading and writing, which is noticeable when working with apps and larger files. Under prolonged load, a heat dissipation system with a cooling surface of 1700mm² helps maintain stable performance. The advanced cooling draws heat away from important components and reduces overheating during gaming, navigation, or working with more demanding applications.
Smooth 120Hz display
The front is dominated by a 6.67" IPS display with a resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels, a brightness of up to 650 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 85%. The intelligent refresh rate of up to 120Hz ensures smooth content scrolling, faster animations, and a more pleasant user experience. The frequency adapts to the current usage to balance screen fluidity and power consumption.
For more comfortable use, the display offers four viewing modes. Reading Mode simulates the appearance of paper, Night Light reduces blue light strain, Dark Mode makes it easier to work in the dark, and Light Mode ensures a bright display during the day.
Loud audio for work and play
The integrated 2W box speaker provides clear and easily audible sound. You'll appreciate the higher volume for calls, navigation, watching videos, and listening to music in noisier outdoor environments.
15000mAh battery
The high-capacity battery enables long-term use without frequently searching for a power socket. The 15000mAh capacity is enough for up to 28 hours of gaming, 43 hours of calling, 97 hours of music listening, 34 hours of web browsing, or 26 hours of video playback. Standby time can reach up to 50 days, although actual battery life depends on usage and environmental conditions.
Support for 33W fast charging helps shorten the time needed to recharge, and intelligent protection monitors the charging process. A nocturnal power-saving mode uses AI to recognise your sleep time, limit background app activity, and can extend standby time by up to 70%.
A power bank for other devices
Using the 5W reverse OTG charging feature, the Blackview ROCK 2 can transfer power to other compatible devices. This means the phone can serve as a portable power bank for wireless headphones, smartwatches, another phone, a camera, a speaker, or outdoor lighting.
Cameras for documentation and everyday snapshots
The rear 16MP main camera uses AI optimisation to automatically adjust the image to the scene being photographed. It takes sharp, natural-looking photos for documenting work, travelling, and capturing everyday moments. Night mode helps bring out details from shadowy parts of the image and improves results in low light.
The front 13MP camera is ready for selfies, video calls, and online work communication. Portrait mode uses AI depth recognition to blur the background, and Beauty mode subtly adjusts skin appearance and colour rendering.
Doke AI for work and everyday use
The Doke AI smart assistant combines the DeepSeek-R1, ChatGPT-4o mini, and Gemini AI 2.0 Flash models. It provides voice activation and recognition, control over compatible apps, interaction with on-screen content, and real-time answers. The Hi Doki app offers online search, document analysis, a learning assistant, and communication with various AI personalities. AI tools can help with text processing, finding information, studying, organising tasks, and creative ideas.
AI editing for photos, videos, and music
The ImageX app includes 18 tools for editing photos directly on your phone. Using AI, you can remove unwanted objects, extend the edges of an image, blur selected parts, replace the background, or convert a static photo into an animation. The VidGen app lets you create videos from text prompts or photos and enhance them with dynamic effects. Soundle turns your phone into a simple AI music studio, where you can create original melodies without musical instruments or prior experience.
DokeOS 5.0 based on Android 16
The Blackview ROCK 2 uses the DokeOS 5.0 environment, built on the Android 16 system. The new version delivers faster response times, smoother animations, a cleaner look, and wider customisation options for the user interface. Custom themes, transition animations, live wallpapers, a dynamic lock screen, and home screen layout adjustments are all available.
Smart System Manager 2.0 helps with cleaning storage, optimising performance, managing apps, and saving power. The Focus Computing feature prioritises important tasks, Cold Room limits the activity of unused apps, and Smart Pre-Loading prepares frequently used apps for faster launching.
The system is complemented by Focus Mode to limit distracting notifications, Game Mode 2.0, a central search function, and Motion Photo, which captures a short movement and sound around the moment a photo is taken. Privacy is enhanced by encrypted note storage, a private space, an app lock, more precise permission management, and the ability to record the screen only within a selected app.
Programmable side button
The side button allows you to quickly launch your most-used function or app. A single press can open the torch, emergency SOS, underwater camera, PTT communication, sound recorder, or take a screenshot.
Connectivity and precise navigation
The phone supports 5G mobile networks, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC for contactless payments or pairing compatible devices. The GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou navigation systems help with more accurate positioning when travelling, working in the field, or during outdoor activities. The slot allows you to use two SIM cards, or one SIM card together with a memory card.
