The enamelled cast iron Dutch oven is ideal for slow cooking, braising and baking (e.g. homemade bread). This type of pot was invented in the 17th century in Holland. The Combekk pot is 100% recycled. It has a thick enamelled surface and will impress you at first sight with its functional and modern design. The pot is made of 100% cast iron, its weight is more than 5 kg. With the right care, it will last for decades. Just make sure you don't drop the Dutch oven on the floor. The whole pot gradually heats up

Before using your Combekk Dutch oven for the first time, wash it thoroughly to remove all dust and dirt particles. When cooking, use sufficient oil, butter or other fat. Never heat an empty pot. Gradually increase the cooking temperature so that the Dutch oven gradually heats up. Use only tools made of wood, silicone or other soft materials. Metal tools could damage the enamel coating of the Combekk pot. It is recommended to clean the Dutch oven with water and a soft brush or sponge with occasional use of detergent. It is more efficient to fill the Dutch oven with water overnight and in the morning all the dirt will be removed. The Dutch oven needs to be dried properly before storage. Try not to put the pot on other pans.
