The user-adjustable maximum power input function lets you adapt the hob's power consumption to the parameters of your home's wiring and the supply capacity of the distribution network. This means you can connect the hob to both a three-phase (400V) and a single-phase (230V) network.

The hob features a clever "Boil" function, which is ideal for quickly preparing pasta, rice, etc. When you press the button, the hob rapidly brings water to the boil and alerts you to add the ingredients, then automatically reduces the power to maintain a gentle simmer. The DPI4832B hob features advanced technology that automatically recognises the exact position, shape and size of the cookware you place on it. This makes cooking much more convenient and flexible—simply place your cookware wherever suits you best. You can also move the cookware to another spot at any time, and the hob will automatically adjust the heating so that cooking continues with the original temperature setting.
AI Smart navigation makes cooking easier
Thanks to the built-in AI Smart navigation function, the De Dietrich DPI4832B hob can automatically set the optimal power and cooking time according to the selected food type (74 options). The appliance will also recommend the most suitable cookware and cooking zone to achieve the best results, whether you're preparing a complex menu or a simple side dish.
The De Dietrich DPI4832B hob can be connected to a cooker hood
Autolink (Hob to hood) technology allows for a simple connection between the appliance and a cooker hood, so that when the induction hob is switched on, the extractor fan is also activated (if installed). The system uses a simple wireless connection and can independently adjust the extraction speed according to the current heating power of the hob. After cooking is finished, the cooker hood switches off automatically.
Easy-to-read display with Back Light function
All of the hob's functions are controlled using a high-contrast touch LCD display with white characters on a black background. This ensures the display is easy to read in any light conditions, from bright artificial lighting to natural sunlight. Thanks to the Back Light function, the control panel remains unlit when switched off, so it doesn't disturb the kitchen's interior with unwanted light or flashing. As soon as you activate the hob, the panel lights up automatically.

Cooking with the De Dietrich DPI4832B hob is not only convenient but also safe. It has a range of safety features, such as overheat protection, which limits the maximum temperature to 300°C, significantly reducing the risk of oil igniting. If a liquid spills or boils over, the relevant burner will immediately switch off automatically. Furthermore, the induction hob will only switch on when in contact with a metal surface with a diameter of at least 10cm. This means there is no risk of the hob switching on without cookware or unintentionally heating up metal cutlery left on the cooking zone. There is also protection against undervoltage, overvoltage and incorrect electrical connection of the hob. Cleaning the appliance is then made easier by the Clean Lock function, which locks the control panel for one minute, letting you wipe it thoroughly, even while cooking.
