Osci TRX2 and DSP Technology
The built-in DSP (digital signal processor) chip analyses the incoming audio signal in real time and isolates the low-frequency components in the 1–250Hz range. These are then converted into physical movement of the diaphragm in the Osci TRX2 transducer. The Woojer belt thus thumps, rumbles and responds to every detail of the audio signal. At the same time, the DSP sends the mids and highs to the headphones, so you hear the full, unabridged audio spectrum. The Osci TRX2 transducer is a polyphonic linear actuator – quiet, powerful, and capable of reproducing deep sub-bass rumbles (5–30Hz), mid-bass (30–80Hz), and higher harmonic percussive components (80–250Hz). The STRAP 4 is designed to be used with headphones. The DSP deliberately separates the bass from the rest of the spectrum. Without headphones, you would miss the entire mid and high range. With headphones, whether wired or Bluetooth, the experience is complete.

The Woojer haptic belt provides a total of three ways to connect to an audio source. Bluetooth 5.0 is equipped with two independent transceivers – the first receives sound from the source (PC, console, phone), the second independently re-transmits audio wirelessly to your BT headphones. Both happen simultaneously, allowing you to enjoy a completely wireless experience without a single cable. The analogue 3.5mm jack with TRRS (microphone) support ensures zero latency, which is ideal for competitive gaming where every millisecond counts. The USB-C digital audio input is for modern devices without a jack connector. The built-in Texas Instruments amplifier offers 138mW of power into 16Ω and powers wired headphones directly from the belt with minimal distortion (0.1% THD+N). The built-in Li-Ion battery (3.6V) offers up to 10 hours of continuous use. Recharging via USB-C takes approximately 3 hours from fully depleted. The STRAP 4 is equipped with an automatic shut-off when idle, which saves the battery during breaks. The haptic belt has independent physical controls for headphone volume, haptic intensity, and two LED status indicators. The Woojer Device Manager app (iOS and Android) allows you to pair Bluetooth headphones, set up DSP profiles for different genres (gaming, music, films), and update the firmware.
