A practical adapter for PCI Express x1 slot. The adapter has two internal Serial ATA III ports with maximum speeds of up to 6Gb/s. Of course, backward compatibility with older SATA versions is possible. Support for NCQ and Hot Plug is a major advantage. The Low Profile card and end caps of two sizes can be plugged into all devices.
NCQ stores the cached readings and when you know the position of the read heads it sets the optimal route for the fastest move to the desired location. Access requirements for disk drives are continuously evaluated and the header path is constantly modified. As a result, the chirps of the read heads will be reduced and the access to the disk attached to the Serial ATA port will be accelerated.
The card complies with the EU RoHS directive on the ban of hazardous substance use in electrotechnical products, making it much more environmentally friendly.
