The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor with 20 cores and a frequency of up to 5.3GHz in boost mode. The processor includes an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) that efficiently accelerates AI tasks and offloads the main processor. For smooth multitasking and working with large amounts of data, the system includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM with a frequency of 5,600MHz, with one of the two slots remaining free for future expansion up to 64GB. The system and applications are launched from a 1TB SSD with an M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe interface, which shortens loading times. Graphics performance is handled by the integrated Intel Graphics card.
Display
The workspace is spread across a 27" QHD display with a resolution of 2560×1440px. The IPS technology used provides consistent colours and wide viewing angles. The 120Hz refresh rate contributes to smoother motion and system animations. The display covers 99% of the sRGB colour space and has a brightness of 400cd/m². For eye protection, it has hardware-based blue light reduction and Flicker-Free technology, as confirmed by its Eyesafe certification. The anti-reflective surface treatment reduces glare from ambient lighting and improves content legibility.
Advanced Communication and Connectivity
For video calls and online conferences, it offers a hybrid camera with 5MP resolution and an infrared sensor for facial recognition login. Privacy is protected by a mechanical ThinkShutter cover. Sound is recorded by a pair of sensitive microphones, while reproduction is handled by two 5W speakers. The computer offers extensive options for connecting peripherals. There are two Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports with a transfer speed of 40Gb/s and Power Delivery support (65W), three USB-A 10Gb/s ports and two USB-A 5Gb/s ports. For network connection, it uses Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) and a wireless Wi-Fi 6E module with Bluetooth 5.3.
Durability and Security
The computer's construction meets the criteria of military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability tests, which verify its functionality under harsh conditions such as temperature changes, humidity or vibrations. The front side is dust-resistant according to the IP55 standard. Data is protected by a TPM 2.0 security chip, which handles hardware encryption. The fully functional stand supports height, tilt and swivel adjustments, which promotes an ergonomic workspace. Alternatively, the computer can be mounted on a wall or arm using a VESA mount. A wireless keyboard and mouse are included in the package.
