Leros tea party, mint 20 × 1,5 g

Herbal tea made from mint leaves contributes to the normal function of the respiratory system, good digestion and relaxation. Mint got its name from the nymph Menthe, who was turned into this very flower by Persephone. It has been known to people since ancient times. It has been found in Egyptian tombs more than 3,000 years old. The ancient Greeks and Romans used mint powder as toothpaste, and in the time of the ancient Hebrews, synagogues were scented with mint.

Preparation

Pour boiling water (250ml) over 1 tea bag and infuse for 5–7 minutes. The tea should always be prepared fresh.

Taste and Aroma

Peppermint contains menthol, which gives the tea a strongly aromatic taste and aroma. Thanks to the menthol, the taste of mint tea is fresh, “icy cool” and pleasantly cooling. During infusion, the colour of the tea changes from greenish to a full amber shade.

Not intended for children under 3 years of age. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to mint. Store in a dry place up to 25°C, protected from light and foreign odours. Keep out of reach of children.
