Fennel tea supports normal digestion and has a beneficial effect on the function of the respiratory tract. It also contributes to the production of breast milk in lactating women. Our great-grandmothers would place a fennel seed in the keyhole to prevent ghosts from entering the house. The French and Italians, on the other hand, love to use fennel in their kitchens. It is said to enhance any meal.

Preparation and dosage

Pour boiling water (250ml) over 1 tea bag and infuse for 10 minutes. The tea should always be prepared fresh.
Drink 2–3× a day.

Taste and aroma

Fennel tea is enjoyed by adults and children alike. It has a pleasantly sweet taste, so you don't even need to sweeten it. Its aroma can be reminiscent of aniseed or liquorice.

Warning

Do not use if you are hypersensitive to fennel or other plants from the Apiaceae (carrot) family. Store in a dry place up to 25°C, protected from light and foreign odours. Keep out of reach of children.
