The preparation of matcha tea is a ceremonial ritual that is subject to strict rules. For a classic tea ceremony you will need: bamboo spoon, bamboo whisk and ceramic bowl. When preparing it, it is important to avoid metal utensils, which destroy the beneficial substances.
Traditional tea ceremony:
Put 1 bamboo teaspoon of Matcha tea (1g) in a bowl and pour 80 ml of hot water (max. 70 °C). Then whisk with a bamboo whisk until thick and serve immediately.
In a cold shaker:
Mix 2-4 g of powder in a shaker with cold water for a delicious refreshing drink.
