Dimbula teas are among the most famous and popular Ceylon teas due to their excellent quality. Tea leaves, that are collected here, are long and give the brine a delicious flavour, rich body and intense, a penetrating scent, that's easy to spot. Dimbula's tea bushes grow at altitudes between 1100 and 1500 metres above sea level, giving them the characteristic properties of teas from higher altitudes. The flavour of Ceylon Green OPA Dimbula is distinctive, slightly sour and spicy and lingers in the mouth long after the first sip. To this is added a subtle fruity undertone that adds freshness and lightness to the infusion.
ORIENTAL Ceylon Green OPA Dimbula tea is prepared in a 0.5 litre teapot. Pour a total of 10 g of tea into water at a temperature of approximately 75 °C, let it infuse for 2 to 3 minutes, then strain. Pour the second brine with water at a temperature of approximately 85 °C and leave to infuse for 2 to 3 minutes. For a stronger tea, use a larger amount of tea mixture, warmer water or increase the steeping time.
