Sharp and bitter smoky flavour
A strong green tea with a characteristic sharp to bitter, smoky flavour. It's one of the most widespread and sought-after classic green teas. It contains a higher amount of caffeine than other green teas, making it very stimulating. Thanks to its high fluoride content, it's suitable for supporting the prevention of tooth decay. When dry, its leaves are rolled into a shape that has also earned it the nickname 'pearl tea'. It's ideal for drinking in the morning and early afternoon. Due to its distinct, strong flavour, it is also used as a base for preparing the sweet and highly invigorating tea speciality, Le Tuareg.

Organic green Gunpowder tea 100%
Preparation
Use 2 teaspoons of tea for 0.5L of water. Pour over water at 80°C (let boiled water stand for about 2 minutes), and steep for 2–4 minutes (depending on the desired strength of the infusion). This tea can be infused multiple times (one portion can be steeped again; for each subsequent infusion, increase the water temperature by a few degrees).
