SAHARA Gunpowder Sahara green tea is named after the small light coloured balls in which it is wrapped. It is the wrapping that protects the tea from weathering and ensures its longevity. It is made from the larger and older leaves of the Chinese tea tree.
SAHARA Gunpowder Sahara green tea offers smoky notes and a pleasant grassy taste and penetrating aroma. When fresh, it retains a slightly sweet aroma. It is easy to prepare, just pour approximately 10 g of tea in 80 °C water and let it infuse for 2 minutes. You can also use the same batch to make a second infusion by pouring in water at 90 °C and letting it infuse for 2-3 minutes.
