Yerba mate is a drink made from the Paraguayan holly tree, which was drunk by South American Indians hundreds of years ago. Join a long-standing tradition and enjoy our Argentine blend with a delicate and harmonious taste. The blend comes from organic farming and the fresh leaves are dried by indirect warm air, all the smoke is filtered away. In addition, it bears the mark of 'con palo', which means that there are stems in the blend. The resulting beverage gives a more balanced and less bitter taste and allows for multiple infusions. Ingredients
Black tea (Camellia sinensis) 100%.
Preparation
Put 5 g of yerba mate (2-3 teaspoons) into a 250 ml pot. Pour in a small amount of cold water. Add 250 ml of water at a temperature of around 70-80 °C. Infuse for 5 minutes and strain.
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25 °C away from direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
