ORION Pot 3,3 l with lid cast iron SMALT

The Orion enamelled cast iron pot with a 3.3-litre capacity is the perfect choice for preparing a wide range of dishes, from stewed meat and vegetables to baking bread. The solid Orion pot combines the advantages of cast iron and an enamelled surface, making it not only exceptionally durable but also a practical piece of cookware. Cast iron is known for its ability to heat evenly across the entire surface and retain accumulated heat for a long time, which you will especially appreciate during slow cooking or baking. The enamelled surface does not affect the taste or quality of the food being prepared. The Orion pot is versatile—it can be used on all types of hobs, including induction, in the oven, on the grill, or even over an open fire. The lid, equipped with condensation points, promotes efficient cooking by allowing steam to drip back onto the food, ensuring its juiciness. Thanks to its high temperature resistance (up to 250°C), it is also ideal for searing at high heat. However, it is necessary to use high-quality oven gloves when handling it, as the pot gets very hot and is heavy. The edge of the pot, which lacks an enamel layer, requires treatment with edible oil to prevent corrosion.
