Boot size

Choose ski boots half a size larger than is your normal shoe size to accommodate thicker socks.

Flex index

The flex index tells you how stiff a boot shell is. A higher rating means stiffer boots, suitable for more advanced skiers. The chart below lists ideal flex ratings for average weight skiers (men - 85 kg women - 65 kg). The ideal flex index rises with the skier’s weight.
