The Priessnitz throat wrap for children is recommended for sore and scratchy throat, laryngitis, dry cough and tonsillitis. The wrap can be used cold, warm or dry and in combination with decoctions and herbs. The natural Priessnitz wrap is pleasant to the touch for children. When you soak the inner removable liner in a bath of herbs, the wrap will also smell great. It works by leading to better blood circulation to the affected area, and thus contributes to accelerate regeneration, healing and brings beneficial relief. The removable wrap insert is equipped with a pocket for inserting various beneficial substances (aromatic herbs, onions, yarrow, thyme, etc. ) for increased effect and well-being. Material:
Outer layer: 100% cotton knit 220 gm.
Core: 50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% polyurethane.
Inner layer: 100% cotton.
Clamping: Velcro.
The wraps include a removable inner part made of 100% cotton with a pocket for herbs.
Use: Soak the inner removable part of the wrap belt in cold water at a temperature of 8 to 16 °C (it is important to choose the temperature of the water according to the patient's condition - for children choose less cold water at a temperature of about 22 °C). Place the wrung-out compress in the wrap strip. Place the belt around the affected area and fasten with Velcro. The natural wrap should not be applied to areas infected with inflammation, poorly healing wounds, or skin diseases (eczema). 1. Maintenance:
The wrap can be washed in a washing machine at 40 °C and left to dry freely (do not stretch when drying). The wrap is made of high quality materials, so it should last 3 to 5 years depending on how you use it.
