The biennial buddleia is a yellow flowering plant native to the Americas that blooms in the evening, hence its name. Extracted from the seeds and used primarily for throat and skin problems, in the 17th century it made its way to Europe, where it quickly became known as a cure-all. Gamma linolenic acid, a derivative of linolenic acid, is naturally present in breast milk. Evening primrose oil has properties related to menopause, PMS and skin conditions.

Evening Primrose Oil is a 100% organic evening primrose oil (oil from Oenothera biennis). It is an industrially untreated cold-pressed oil, which is naturally rich in omega-6 fatty acids - linoleic acid (1875 mg in a 2.5 ml dose) and gamma linolenic acid (225 mg in a 2.5 ml dose), and also omega-9 oleic acid (175 mg in a 2.5 ml dose). Known for its exceptional value for women, the oil is excellent for its menopause-related properties and appearance support.

Recommended dosage
2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) daily with food. The package contains 40 doses. Add to smoothies, salad dressings and soups, drizzle over food or use directly from a spoon. It can also be used topically on dry skin and as a massage oil.
