POWERbreathe K5 is the highest model by POWERbreathe. It is an advanced model of a digital device used for training breathing muscles. It uses the same auto-optimising technology of resistance to inhalation during breathing tasks as the lower models, but its functionality is considerably extended. It is an ideal solution for users who require a wide range of modes and features, including training, specific training settings, performance testing, warm-up before and cool-down after the training, displaying history on a screen, and a data analysis on a computer. Apart from reviewing your progress on a computer, you can easily see the results and settings on an LCD panel that includes, among other things, the current inspiratory pressure, inspiration volume in litres, power in watts, energy in joules, and your improvement in percentage. Moreover, with a detachable breathing valve, cleaning the device gets much easier.
POWERbreathe K series devices are the third generation of a portable respiratory training system for respiratory training (breathing training). They are equipped with an advanced electronic monitoring system that delivers excellent results. They use the basic principles of load training. Similarly to weightlifting, which strengthens the muscles of your arms, when breathing through POWERbreathe and its electronically controlled and quick-response valve the device creates a breathing load and thus increases the muscular strength and endurance of respiratory muscles. The device comes with a rechargeable battery and a charging stand.
The K Series POWERbreathe system is specially designed to adapt to dynamic changes in breathing. Owing to this feature, the device will automatically adapt to the increase in muscle strength at the beginning of each muscle training. You can also check your training progress on an integrated LCD panel and optimise your training techniques accordingly. Training with POWERbreathe involves thirty inhales twice a day, which takes only a few minutes. When you use it properly, you can begin to feel the results within a few weeks.
The system also allows you to manually adjust the respiration load intensity in the range of 10-200cmH2O according to the individual requirements of each user. A training guide with clear layout will show you the number of remaining breaths and inform you when the cycle is complete. It will then show you the training load in cmH2O, power in watts, inhaled volume in litres, and breathing energy in joules. The device is getting ready for the training using a charging system with an automatic shutdown and a charge level indicator.
The POWERbreathe K5 automatically sets the optimal load for warming up the muscles before training and cooling them down at the end of it. Once connected to a computer via USB, it can monitor your performance during the training, test the current performance, and then generate statistics from the collected data. In addition, you can customise the training (create your own) on your computer to meet your needs.
