RAM

RAM (Random-Access Memory) refers to a computer's operating memory. This is type of memory stores data currently being used. It allows you to read or write data to any memory location, which makes it extremely fast. However, all data collected is lost when the computer is turned off. Therefore, it serves as a temporary repository for computer work, laptops, and also mobile phones and tablets.

Integrated Graphics Card

An integrated graphics card is embedded directly into the processor. While they do not achieve such high levels of performance as dedicated graphics cards, the battery of a laptop equipped with an integrated graphics card will last longer. Devices with this type of graphics cards are suitable for office work and multimedia entertainment, but they are not ideal for running graphics-intensive games and programs.

Virtual Reality

VR or virtual reality is a hardware and software simulated environment that gives users the illusion of the real world. VR is usually used within the mobile and computer segments and can simulate game environments as well as training programs (e.g. pilot training, combat training, etc.). Virtual reality is viewed using special glasses and powerful hardware is required, usually your computer or phone.

SSHD

It is a hybrid disk, which is essentially a hard drive with a small SSD cache. This is a compromise between expensive SSDs and high capacity HDDs.

Cache

A cache stores data for quicker acccess in the future. It's advantagous because it increases speed and shortens access time. They can be found in processors and hard drives.

VR Ready

This is a label for devices that have strong enough hardware to run virtual reality games and apps.
