Audio Recording and Capsules
The Logitech G Blue Yeti Aurora Collection microphone uses three proprietary 14mm condenser capsules designed for flexible voice and ambient sound pickup. The multi-capsule design allows you to switch between different recording modes depending on the current use case. The 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range covers the entire audible spectrum. 48kHz/16-bit sampling ensures a high-quality digital recording for streaming, calls, and content creation. The maximum SPL of 120dB allows for recording of louder sound sources.
Directional Modes and Use
Cardioid, Bidirectional, Omnidirectional and Stereo modes are available. Cardioid mode is ideal for solo voice recording when streaming or gaming. Bidirectional mode can be used for two-person interviews. Omnidirectional mode captures the space around the microphone, and stereo mode supports more spatial recording. The versatility of these modes expands the microphone's use in both home and professional environments.
Monitoring and Control
The Blue Yeti Aurora Collection model is equipped with a headphone output for direct audio monitoring during use. The integrated headphone amplifier has an impedance of 16 Ohm and a power output of 130mW RMS. The frequency range of the headphone output is 15Hz to 22kHz. Connection is via a USB-A compatible device. The Logitech G HUB software provides access to Blue VO!CE effects, EQ, a limiter, and noise reduction tools.
