The proportion of body fat is an essential human health indicator. It is expressed as a percentage and ideal values depend on both the subjects age and sex.

The body mass index examines whether a person is underweight, normal or overweight. The advantage of this method is the possibility to compare people of different heights. The index is calculated by dividing your weight in kilograms by your height in metres squared.

These elegant scales have a hygienic tempered glass surface which is resistant to humid bathroom environments and are resistant to water contact. The backlit LCD display clearly shows the weight in one of three selectable units of measure.

Fibit Aria Smart Scales recognize up to 8 people, so you can use them for the whole family. Each users personal data is stored and accessible only to them, offering the extra comfort of privacy.

Fitbit software allows you to map your progress and establish goals for which you will receive badges when fulfilled. Plans for objectives are notified via mobile phone, which can also be used to schedule and record diets and exercise plans. Aria scales also support third-party mobile applications.
