Mat material

Mats made of plastic (TPE, PVC, PER) are cheaper and more durable. They are easier to wash, too. However, they do not absorb moisture and can get slippery if you perspire a lot.
Mats made of organic materials (rubber, jute, cotton) absorb moisture, including sweat. The downside is their higher cost and difficult maintenance (instead of washing, it is recommended to simply air them outside often).

How long should my mat be?

Choose the size according to your height.
When lying flat on your back, the mat should reach at least from your shoulders to buttocks.
We recommend models 170 cm long or longer.
