How to choose the right weight?

Beginners should start with a weight of between 12-14 kg (for men) and 5-7 kg (for women). Available kettlebell weights range from 4 to 32 kg.

What material should I choose?

Buy a plastic or rubber kettlebell if you exercise at home and do not have a large mat or carpet. They won’t scratch your floor and they are also cheaper.
Cast iron kettlebells have a long lifespan and are almost impossible to damage. The downside is that they are expensive and require a carpeted floor or mat to avoid scratching the floor.
